Carved out during the Ice Age the mountains of Snowdonia National Park are rugged and rocky while the Brecon Beacons National Park are home to the Black Mountain Range and grassy moorlands. Both incredibly beautiful and having inspired myths and legends throughout the centuries.
Riding the Mach Loop, used by the Royal Air Force is a set of valleys between Dolgellau and Machnlleth and regularly used for low level flight training with flying as low as 250 feet / 76 metres, so best keep you head down on route.
After the highs of the mountains, we descend to the coast on route to the stunning beaches and coastline of the Llyn Penninsula.
